Before you can truly get into the nitty gritty of practicing all of your skills, it is a must that you first learn the very tools that you use while playing…
The discs.
While out on the course trying to analyze everything that leads to a successful throw, things like distance, elevation change, wind, fade/turn, and even when that fade/turn needs to happen, ask yourself:
Is it possible to choose the right disc for the right shot the majority of the time if you don’t know exactly how your discs fly under any and all circumstances?
Sure you may get lucky and choose the right disc 50-75% of the time, but in the pursuit of being the best disc golfer that you can be, choosing the right disc needs to be an element of your game that is nearly perfect.
