Wind Driving and Throwing

Writer's picture: BrodenBroden

What you'll need: bag of discs, open field

Benefits: Further learn your bag and how varying play conditions affect flight

Description: In order to the get the most out of these practice sessions, we recommend thoroughly learning your average maximum distances and flight paths under normal conditions so that you have a solid baseline.

Once this baseline is established, you'll want to continue this bag learning process in all conditions, most notably the wind.

It's easy to only practice on those beautiful, calm, sunny summer days and to omit times with it's windy and rainy. Unfortunately, not all live rounds will be under such conditions in the tournament world so it's imperative that you practice in these conditions.
