As an important note, the plastic that you choose will largely depend on personal preference and what you plan on using the putter for. Unless you truly have never heard of Discraft before, you would probably be shocked to see any putter besides the Zone as our top pick to start off this list.

You may not do much putting with the Zone, but it will instantly become of your favorite discs if you choose to bag it as it is such a versatile option from right out of the box until it is thoroughly beat in.

I personally grabbed a Zone to use as a forehand approach disc, but quickly realized this disc can do it all.

Its fade of 3 is extremely reliable in all plastic types, and will allow this disc to always fade, even in stout headwinds.

Some say that the Zone flies more like a mid-range than a putter due to it's speed of 4, but I would say that it is more of a hybrid than anything as it doesn't get quite the distance as my mid range discs but does fly faster than most putters.

Forehand, backhand, approach, or off the tee, the Zone can do it all and I can confidently say you'll find it extremely versatile too, so try it today!

When Paul McBeth made the switch from Innova to Discraft, the Luna became the first signature disc with his new sponsor and has been a fan favorite ever since.

One would immediately assume that a disc good enough for a player of McBeth's ability would be good for any player, and that would be an accurate assumption! But the Luna is unique in many ways compared to traditional putting putter options.

For one, it has a relatively low glide of 3, coupled with a fade rating of 3. Both flight ratings are not as common for putters that players are actually putting with, but the Luna definitely gets the job done!

As a putting putter, the high fade rating ensures that it will always fly dead straight for putting distances, even with high speed spin putts and when putting into head winds.

It will come into play if being used as a thrower, but you'll likely be using a disc such as the zone for those situations anyways.

Try it with confidence today!

Number 3 on our list takes us to another fan favorite, signature disc, the Fierce!

This understable putter is the first understable option on our list, and as of 2022 is the preferred putting option for touring pro and world champ, Paige Pierce.

With its high glide of 4, you will get an appreciable amount of distance out of this disc with less effort. Combine this with a fade of 0 and a turn of -2 and you have yourself an extremely beginner friendly putter option!

But don't worry, the Fierce is an excellent putting option for players of all abilities, so don't just take our word for it, try it today!

Next up is the Discraft Roach!

The first thing that you may see about this putter compared to the previous 3 discs on our list is that its flight ratings are much closer to what you'd expect of a traditional, straight flying putter.

Typically used as a putting putter, the Roach was initially released in 2015 and while it has been popular since its debut, has gained even more traction recently with Brodie Smith choosing it as his own primary putter.

This beadless putter feels extremely comfortable in the hand and will fly very straight and true from all distances, near and far.

Up next on our list and taking us to the halfway point is the Challenger!

This Speed 2, Glide 3 putter option is a unique one for our list so far in that it is used equally by players as both a putting putter and an approach putter.

Those who putt with it love how straight it flies despite the fade of 2 and really love how well the Challenger beats in overtime.

Players who bag this disc as a thrower also like the straight flight path, but because of the longer distance can always count on it to finish softly to the left (for RHBH players).

The Challenger is one of the older discs in Discrafts lineup and on our list, and we're confident this time tested disc can work for you too!

Don't let the GT in it's name fool you, this disc is no speedster, but it will definitely "Bang" chains for you!

The Banger GT features a very unique groove on its top (Groove Top = GT) which players love for added comfort in their hand, especially players who also like a beaded putter as this disc has that as well.

This putter option is very similar in flight path to the Challenger, but with less fade at the end of its flight path, as indicated by a Fade of 1.

Nonetheless, players can rely on this disc to straight flying with an often reliable fade, even in the wind, and will bag this disc to be used in both putting and approach situations, so try one for yourself and see if you are a fan of the Groove Top!

Commonly used as a driving and approach disc, the Ringer GT is another great putter option in the Discraft lineup also featuring the Grooved Top as seen on the Banger GT.

The Ringer GT is very beefy and will be able to handle all situations that are thrown its way, including stout headwinds, as the Fade of 3 will not only keep this disc straight down the fairway, but with a reliable fade at the end of its flight too.

It's also a great option for short hyzer shots and forehand approaches.

As an added bonus, the Groove Top will aid in comfort as it is designed to do and is another reason why it made our list.

It's sometimes hard to find in stock, but if you can get your hands on one, be sure to give it a try!

Up next on our list is the second understable offering we recommend for Discraft Putters, and that disc is the APX.

The APX is not quite as understable as the first option on our list, the Fierce, but with a fade and turn of 1/-1, this putter will fly very straight for slower arms and will finish with more turn than fade for faster, more experienced arms or when faced with a headwind.

It's flight characteristics make it very suitable for both throwing and putting, and will be especially useful for short turnover shots from the tee and in approach situations.

Like most understable discs, it is also very beginner friendly, so try it today!

Focus up as I tell you about the #9 on our list of the best Discraft putters, the Focus!

This straight flyer is often found in starter sets, and rightfully so as this beaded putter is just an all around great putter option for players to use when starting out and remains a great option as they learn and improve.

While stable, the Focus does come with a rating of -1 for turn that is offset by it's fade of 2, meaning that it should flight with a nice and subtle S shaped flight path for faster arms but dead straight with reliable fade for slower arms.

Once beat in, this disc may turnover for faster arms on approach shots, but this disc is a gem as a putting putter when new out of the box and when very beat in, so try it today for all situations!

We wrap things up with the reliably straight yet stable Ringer!

This disc is the perfect putting putter to compliment any throwing putter you choose to bag, but is a solid throwing option as well as it will fly dead straight for the majority of its flight path before fading gently.

It's a little more glidey than its GT sibling with a glide of 4, and it is a little less overstable with a fade of 2, but its speed rating of 3 is still manageable by any player's standards.

If you're looking for a versatile option, then the Ringer could be just the disc for you.
