In this review, we're going to be taking a look at an awesome variation of one of Dynamic Discs most popular discs ever, the
Given that the original Judge was so popular, you may be wondering how in the world Dynamic Discs could have possibly made this disc any better.
For this task, they recruited the help of 2010 Disc Golf Champ Eric McCabe (aka EMac) to make some slight, but key improvements with player feedback in mind.
For starters, the original Judge was beaded, and many players simply did not like the feel of it for throwing or putting. To remedy this, Dynamic Discs instead went with a semi-beaded approach for the EMac putter, which to me, definitely feels good in the hand.
This semi bead is very subtle, but is great at giving you just enough feed back in your hand to ensure a consistent, comfortable grip to confidently run the basket when putting.
This semi bead, in addition to the shallow rim, also feels great for throwing as it doesn't feel like the putter wants to stay in your hand like a full bead sometimes want to do.
Speaking of throwing, the EMac Judge also has just a touch more fade than the Judge, making it an extremely straight flying putter, even when beat in a little.
Sometimes, straight flying, stable putters will want to turnover more and more as they beat in, however, the slight increase in fade helps to minimize this and maximize the lifespan of the stable flight this disc was designed to have.
Even when I rip this disc for distance, it fights hard to not turn maintains that straight flight before softly landing at its destination.

Wrap-Up
I have to say, I have been very impressed with this putter from the minute I was able to get it into my hands.
Off the tee, this is one of my favorite stable putters to throw.
Between the semi bead, and the awesome grip from the prime plastic, this disc simply impresses.
It is rated as a 2 speed, but I feel that it seems to fly a little faster than that, and the glide of 4 is definitely noticeable, as it aides in grabbing some extra distance even when slowing down and fading slightly back to mid line.
As for putting, I really like the subtle bead for helping me achieve a consistent grip. As soon as I grab this disc, my hand naturally wants to go to right spot each and every time.
This comfort adds confidence and familiarity, which are both very important to be consistent inside the circle.
My current putter is split between the Deputy, also by Dynamic Discs, and the Discraft Roach, but this disc is fighting for a well deserved spot in my putter slot as well!
All in all, if you have doubt about whether or not you should get yourself an EMac Judge, you can erase it and pull the trigger because you will like it!
